Cocktail Bar & Restaurant Basement Conversion

Penetrating damp through structural concrete walls & residual moisture in floor slab was solved by Select Interiors installing structural tanking membranes and forming perimeter drainage channel. The floor slab was treated with a chemical treatment. Image 1 illustrates the damp and image 2 diamond cut drainage channel cut into reinforced floor slab. The channel was installed 100mm below finished floor height onto limestone gravel bed

Acoustic lobbies were installed see image 3, all the ceilings and walls were insulated and fitted with Acoustic plasterboards to minimise noise break out as adjacent property is a residential unit

The images above are the end result, see image 1 and 2 taken of the walls above before the project. What was a damp bare concrete shell is now an extended restaurant and bar for Solita on Turner Street in The Northern Quarter. Select Interiors have completed structural waterproofing and remedial works to Dough Pizza Restaurant, the Building adjacent Jewel House for Sanderson Weatherall and Basil Chambers all on High Street in The Northern Quarter.
