Executive offices above just completed in Grade II listed building in the Northern Quarter. Project was won on a recommendation from O’Connell East Architects. The client wanted to encapsulate the cast iron column within the office as a feature. A template was made on site for the glass workshop to form round ovolo scallop on beam and ‘slice’ neatly through cornice adjacent to structural beam. Director and Engineer Chris was very pleased with the result and has asked for images to send round the group as a template for other regional offices.

Select Interiors Ltd are currently working with Lisa Raynes Architects on a conversion of a 1970′s built warehouse currently with planning department to convert to a Church. The plans include conversion of main warehouse into an Auditorium for Manchester Apostolic congregation. Forming a new main entrance, library and café, offices and enlarged toilet facilities. The building is located in a residential area and an acoustic report and recommendations form a considerable part of the conversion. Select Interiors have a considerable amount of experience in this area as we have completed a number of projects over a number of years for the DWP and converted a listed 3 storey cottage and commercial unit next to a residential development in the Northern Quarter. Our 25 years experience in the industry was invaluable solving problem developments by liaising with Noise Consultants and Manchester Council to upgrade the whole shell to satisfy planning conditions.
