The palette above was influenced by the existing concrete ceiling slab and industrial chic architecture of the existing shell, designed by 5 Plus Architects. The carpet tile floor finish plays with colour, pile heights and yarns with natural variations and silk highlights to create movement, depth and texture. The use of tone-in-tone shades to create subtle area definition for informal meeting spaces. Use of reclaimed yellow pine in the reception, kitchen / Collaborative space as flooring and within kitchen units adds warmth and contrast to the textile finishes. Lighting in main office by Hacel, accent lighting by Illuma, pendants by Intalight. The lighting phased with passive sensor control, remote control dimmable LED fittings in Boardroom and feature piece above the informal meeting area which changes shades to match the upholstery / scheme colours. Bespoke neon, graphics and Aluminum signage have been designed to reinforce and enhance the company’s brand. Bespoke furniture and concealed cloakroom is incorporated to make the best use of the available space. Seamless glass partitions have been specified for the boardroom and meeting room with bespoke manifestations. Acoustic pebble’ shaped acoustic panels are suspended from ceiling to ‘compliment the subtle natural materials & organic theme. The panels reduce resonance. As the open plan space includes an informal meeting area and collaborative suite. Shelving and storage central feature furniture by innovative Teutonic design house Sedus Stoll. Bespoke reception & informal meeting furniture by Sixteen 3, general office desks, screens and pedestals by local manufacturer Imperial. All the furniture is supplied and installed by the Select Interiors Manchester team.
