Q – What is happening to the Old Museum Store?
Select Interiors team is converting the former dilapidated Museum Store adjacent to The Pelican Centre in Tyldsley. The project and works will transform the redundant building into a dynamic new Gym & leisure facility. The proposed new and extended Pelican Centre will be an asset and of great benefit to the local community. The space will incorporate Gym, a youth zone and a space for community groups for workshops and life style work and will be an extension to the services already provided by the dedicated Pelican Centre team
The scheme is being partly funded by charities and Wigan Borough Council under the Deal for Communities scheme.
