This Deli shop fit was developed as a homage by the operator to his Father who founded a bakery boulangerie in France. The footprint and existing electrical supply were two challenges we had to overcome.

Overview

The design, & shopfitting brief was to create a Deli, commercial bakery, kitchen, shop retail and café space for the French operator of the family business.

Scope of Works

Scope of works included demolition, partitioning, fire-glass, bespoke kitchen extract & mechanical, bespoke joinery, plumbing, hygienic cladding, suspended ceilings. Also decorative plaster cornices, refurbishment of Marble cladding, electrical, LED lighting, decoration, refurbishment of wood-block herringbone flooring, bespoke Deli refrigerated counter, graffiti, tables and chairs

We worked with the space on the 5th floor in the Hive, a Grade A Breeam rated, award winning for best commercial workspace. Select Interiors were recommended by the other occupier of the 5th Floor

Overview

The brief by founder and Managing Director Libby Howard was to create a comfortable ‘home in the office’ bespoke fit out incorporating 18 workstations, a Boardroom, Meeting Room, Store, print area and a new combined Collaboration & kitchen area.

Scope of Works

The Cat A & B office design, space planning & fit out works included: Full design and 3D modelling, application for Landlord & Building Control consents, electrical, fire strategy, mechanical, plumbing / heating, toughened glass & new acoustic partitions, bespoke plaster and acoustic rafts, LED lighting, bespoke joinery, bespoke signage, desks, screens, chairs, meeting booth and boardroom furniture. Basil Chambers is a handsome Grade II Listed building wedged between the Northern Quarter’s trendiest location High St & Nicholas Croft. Named after Basil David who operated numerous textile companies from the building.

Overview

Select Interiors won the tender and completely refurbished the 4th floor introducing new enlarged W.C. block & showers within a compact core for client Gerald David and Holmes Terry & Co

Scope of Works

The building & refurbishment works included: demolition, extensive new drainage, mechanical, electrical, LED lighting, plumbing, partitioning, toughened glass partitions, solid timber flooring, kitchens, bespoke joinery, ceramic tiling and decoration. The programme of works was completed over a 6-week programme

This forerunner of the Co-worker model was the brainchild of CEO Mike Ingall the brilliantly creative mad genius behind the mighty Allied London Estates group. The concept sketch penned onto a scrap of paper was developed by Select Interiors as 2D and 3D design model for Project Managers OBI & Allied London Estates

Scope of Works

The scope of works included consultation with Structural Engineers, extensive demolition of solid concrete block walls to form an open plan space with separate communal Board & Classroom.

The design & refurbishment works also included full electrical, containment, mechanical, partitioning, toughened glazing bespoke bench style mobile work benches, polished concrete, plaster finishes, decoration, bespoke signage & graphics

Interior Design

The refurbishment, building and fit out works formed part of a programme Select Interiors completed over 18 months converting over 9000sqft into Coffee Shop, reception, co-worker space, offices over 5 floors, an extensive penthouse flat and accommodation. All design, drawings and fit outs by Select Interiors Ltd, managed by OBI for Allied London Estates and formal meeting space with Crittall glazing and slim-line sliding screens.

Historically commercial office building fit outs followed the common corporate office design approach of the 80s, which was all about ploughing money into the reception with a simple back office and the most basic finishes and lighting in corridors and staff facilities

Overview

This Victorian mill conversion by Select Interiors working for Kate Yates of Territory Interiors Ltd was to refurbish over 4,000.00 sqft to include a new reception, communal workspace, meeting rooms, washroom facilities and all corridors / communal spaces. Designed by Kate Yates from Territory Interiors & fitted out by Select Interiors Ltd for Biz Spaces

Scope of Works

The project was completed over a 4 week programme period. Scope of works included; demolition,, electrical, lighting, data, partitioning, ceilings, IPS /cubicles, bespoke joinery, ceramic tiling, flooring repairs and new Aluminium external doors, entry system and site management

Interior Design

The design for this formerly austere Mill Business Centre warranted a broader scope including retaining and to some extent recreating the period fittings. All the secondary areas were refurbished to the same standard as the reception space. Select Interiors’ incorporated the latest LED lighting and technology to economise on running and on-going maintenance costs.

Bisque and Beyond a family Art Café in the heart of Didsbury in Manchester which offer a wide range of art projects from paint pot to decopatch, clay imprints, commissions, belly casts and personalised gifts

Overview

The client wanted a ‘craft feel’ for the design and fit out. All the units, shelving, display cabinets are bespoke with cast concrete worktops. The scheme was a collaboration with the client and the Select Team and formal meeting space with Crittall glazing and slim-line sliding screens.

Scope of Works

The basement area was converted to a baby sensory and area for kiddies parties. The scope of works included: structural steelwork, partitioning, plaster finishes, bespoke Aluminium shop-front, electrical, data, lighting, alarm, CCTV, mechanical, brickwork, bespoke and on site joinery, decoration and bespoke signage

The design prioritised authenticity over embellishment and the Truth of Materials ethos from the Bauhaus movement

Brunel Global – An international, Holland based recruitment company we have worked previously with, contacted us to design and fit out their new Grade A offices in Spring Gardens in Manchester. and formal meeting space with Crittall glazing and slim-line sliding screens.

Scope of Works

The project included full design, electrical, mechanical, AV equipment, flooring, decoration, bespoke setee. Boardroom tables, seating, graphics & internal planting scheme. Completed over a 3 week fit out programme with 4 weeks to manufacture all the bespoke furniture.
